Authorship of the software

The association operates this website. The software presented here is not a work of the association. zotLook is a fork of Guillaume Chapron’s Zotero7QuickLook; the fork is maintained and developed further by Felix Müller-Sarnowski, who publishes it under the name fre.ms.

The association acquires no rights in the software, does not distribute it and draws no income from it. zotLook is available under the MIT licence inherited from Zotero7QuickLook, and nothing else. Questions about the software go to fre.ms@fre.ms, questions about the website to office@academic-society.org.

Liability for content and links

Under § 7(1) DDG the service provider is responsible for its own content on these pages in accordance with general law. Under §§ 8 to 10 DDG, however, there is no obligation to monitor third-party information that is transmitted or stored, or to investigate circumstances that indicate unlawful activity.

These pages link to external websites whose content we cannot influence. Responsibility for such third-party content lies with its respective provider. The linked pages were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking, and no unlawful content was apparent. Monitoring them continuously is not reasonable without concrete grounds for suspicion. Links will be removed promptly once a violation becomes known.
